Hastings / Havelock North Youth Group.Next Youth Group will be this Friday 18th May at St Peter Chanel Parish, Gordon Road, Hastings starting at 6.30pm. Gold Coin donation required please. Yr 9 upwards.

ALL WELCOME!  If you are Yr 9 and above join the above group on facebook and keep informed of upcoming Youth events and activities.  

Donations please.My family and I have helped and supported a young woman, Melinda Bennett for many years now. We have taken her for weekends away and had her stay over in our home many times. Melinda has been in a wheelchair since a young age and has a progressively disabling  disease (Friedreichs Ataxia) diagnosed when she was 10.

Melinda would love to travel to Sydney to visit her Mum who is unable to travel. She still needs to raise $2,000 for her and a caregiver to do this. If you can make a donation please contact me at the Youth Office or leave donations at St Mary's Parish Office.

I also ask that you keep Melinda in your prayers.

 Passionist Retreats.Two Retreats available. These are: -

The Youth Retreat – for ages 15+ / 2-5th July / Camp Rangi Woods.

The Young Adult Retreat – for ages 18-30 / 6-8th July / Magnificat Community Featherston.

Fr Kevin Hennessy will run the retreats. For more information contact the Catholic Youth Office / College or Parish.   

Multicultural Mass 2012.The combined Parishes of Hastings and Havelock North invite everyone to the Multicultural Festival at St Peter Chanel Church - Gordon Road, Hastings followed by a traditional shared lunch (Everyone is encouraged to bring a plate of their country's cuisine) and cultural entertainment in the Parish Centre following Mass. Main Celebrant: Fr Vince Onesi - Sunday 27th May @ 10.30am
